What its rules say about promotion

No Advertisement
No advertisement of workshops, links to amazon accounts, linktrees, social media, etc. This also includes links where money is asked for. Links to videos of your art journaling are allowed as long as personal information is not posted, or money is being asked, asking individuals to follow you for prizes, as well as promoting products or promoting other or your own account. This will result on a permanent, non-reversable ban.
No Spamming
No spamming of personal links to your profile or advertisements of any kind. This will result on a permanent, non-reversable ban.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
