What this page is

This page quotes r/MCreator's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/MCreator's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

Include MCreator core, generator and plugin versions
All bug related questions and general help requests fall under this rule. Always include the MCreator core version (e.g. 2026.1), generator type and version (e.g. 1.12.2 generator version 2021.1-v4.0.1) and potential plugins you use (e.g. Nerdy's Player Animator v2.0.3).
All 5 rules of r/MCreator
  1. Follow MCreator's General Publishing Guidelines
Unless stated otherwise in another sub-specific rule, you can find them here: https://mcreator.net/wiki/general-publishing-guidelines
  2. Use flairs
There are several flairs available for posts, so use them. Repeatedly incorrectly tagged posts will be removed.
  3. Help requests must include a question/issue in the title
Low effort posts with titles like "pls help" are hard to sort through by people who actually want to help and clog the post queue. Be more descriptive and concise with what you want help with and what is wrong.
  4. Include MCreator core, generator and plugin versions
All bug related questions and general help requests fall under this rule. Always include the MCreator core version (e.g. 2026.1), generator type and version (e.g. 1.12.2 generator version 2021.1-v4.0.1) and potential plugins you use (e.g. Nerdy's Player Animator v2.0.3).
  5. Respond to follow-up questions
If you post a help request, stay engaged. Moderators may close and archive posts where the OP has not responded to follow-up questions or requests for more info within 3 days.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
